THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO to the following named Defendants against whom substituted service of process is hereby sought to be obtained: In the matter of the Estates Of James Edwin Bass and Neva Jo Bass, deceased, and any and all Unknown Claimants Of Interest Adverse To The Estates Of James Edwin Bass And Neva Jo Bass, deceased of interest in the premises adverse to Petitioner, GREETINGS:
You are hereby notified that suit has been filed and is now pending against you in Cause No. D-911-PB-2024-00113 upon the civil docket of the District Court of Roosevelt County, New Mexico JERRY BASS is Petitioner, and you are Defendants.
The general nature of said suit is as follows:
To quiet the title and estate of Petitioner to the following described real estate in Roosevelt County, New Mexico:
SURFACE AND SURFACE ESTATE ONLY IN AND TO:
1729 South Avenue B., Portales, Roosevelt County, New Mexico, more specifically described as:
Lot nine (9) in the Ross Subdivision of Block Eighty-six (86), of the School Addition to the Town, now City, of Portales, Roosevelt County, New Mexico, as shown by the official recorded plat thereof, together will all improvements thereon.
As more fully appears in the Complaint on file in this cause.
Said action is further to forever bar and estop Defendants from having or claiming any lien upon or any right, title or interest in or to said real estate and premises or any part thereof.
You are further notified that unless you enter your appearance or otherwise plead in said cause on or before, March 24, 2025, judgment will be rendered against by default and Petitioner will apply to the Court for the relief demanded in their Petition.
