Johnson, Nonie

The loving wife of L.B. Johnson Jr. of 64 years, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother passed away at the age of 88, on Thursday August 17th, 2023, at her home in Tularosa, NM in the presence of her family.
Nonie was born on July 19th, 1935, in Concordia, Kansas to Carl and Ann (Brown) Clair. Nonie was busy being a home maker and working alongside her husband in his many ventures.
She enjoyed being outside, reading, needle point and fishing, but her biggest joy was being a mom and Granny.
She is survived by her brother, Ted Clair of CA, her daughter Lori and husband Larry Chavez, son Doug and wife Sharolyn Johnson, daughter Sandy Willoughby and son L.B (Trey) Johnson III, sister in laws Evalon Johnson of Tor C, NM and LaMonin Johnson of La Luz, NM, her beloved 10 grandchildren, 19 great- grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and many loved nieces and nephews.
She will forever be remembered as a loving mother, granny, aunt, and friend to all who knew and loved her.
Graveside services only, to be held on September 9th, 2023, at 10:30 AM at the Garden of Memories Cemetery: 101 El Apajo Way, Hatch NM 87937.
