Karen Joy Holderman

Karen Joy Holdeman, 79, of Detroit, TX, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 in Paris, Texas.
Karen Joy Holdeman was born October 12, 1942, in Newton, Kansas, to Levi and Juleita Koehn. She married Denton Holdeman on July 15, 1962 at Barron WI. After living in various locations in the South they relocated to Detroit in 1987. Karen spent many years providing private home health care in the Paris area.
She is survived by a son, Wade (Sondra) of Fort Sumner, NM; daughters, Angela of Detroit, TX; Valerie (Rollyn) Koehn of Russellville, AR; Brigette (Grant) Helms and Becky (Myron) Smith of Detroit, TX; many grandchildren, friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Denton Holdeman, a granddaughter, and a brother.
Visitation and Funeral services were held at the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, Detroit, Texas on Saturday morning, January 29, 2022.
